Formed in Joinville-le-Pont in 2004, New Wave of French Rock band Naast was originally a duo before rounding out to a four-piece including Gustave (guitar, vocals), Nicolas (drums), Clod (bass), and Laka (guitar); all eventually took on the surname Naast, à la the <a href="spotify:artist:1co4F2pPNH8JjTutZkmgSm">Ramones</a> or the <a href="spotify:artist:2c0qomdZabcCyqTZ5M9msd">Donnas</a>). The band developed their sound and reputation from playing many shows, and in January of 2007, Naast released their debut album, L'Antichambre, driven by the single "Mauvais Garçon" (which was later used in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock).
