Pete Lazonby, born Peter James Lazonby, is a British record producer renowned for his influential contributions to the electronic music scene in the 1990s. He gained prominence with seminal tracks like "Sacred Cycles" and "Wavespeech," which were forerunners of UK progressive house and New York dark house styles.

"Sacred Cycles" achieved notable success, charting on the UK Singles Chart and receiving remixes from artists such as Quivver, Cass & Slide, and Medway. The track features a sample from a talk by Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (later known as Osho) and incorporates elements from Genesis's "The Fountain of Salmacis." Upon its re-release on Hooj Choons in 2000, it reached #49 on the UK Singles Chart.

Beyond his solo work, Lazonby has been associated with various aliases and groups, including Laddaman, O.H.M.S.S., Padre, The Purple Hospital, Bored & Lazy, Cocker & Lazonby, Deeper Throat, Fluid-Um-Vitae, No More Mr Nice Guy, Padre Oe, and The Gentle Revolution.
