Recognized by Rolling Stone Philippines as indie-OPM's "melancholic songsmith," singer-songwriter-producer Pixie Labrador challenges the underrepresentation of sapphic-Pinoy music with her honest and sincere ballads of queer love and heartbreak. From the age of 15, Pixie has captivated global audiences with her distinctive sound that is lyrically evocative, heart-wrenching, and overflowing with vulnerability.
Following the success of hit singles “<a href="spotify:album:6MeyMRQDG6RS29nM8XqapQ" data-name="What's It Like">What's It Like</a>," "<a href="spotify:album:1XwPFljflqKznsSYi6Rz32" data-name="You Are">You Are</a>," and "<a href="spotify:track:29FST78TcyZf2JcWjfVVVT" data-name="Varsity Crush">Varsity Crush</a>," Pixie has garnered a cumulative 15 million streams across digital platforms, charted twice on Philippines' Viral 50, grabbed the attention and praise of renowned publications such as Nylon Manila and Republic Asia, and has taken the stage at highly revered venues and festivals including The Cozy Cove, Fête de la Musique PH, and The Rest Is Noise.
In 2024, shortly after graduating from Berklee College of Music in New York City with a Master’s Degree in Songwriting & Production, Pixie made the notable decision to move back to Manila to pursue her advocacy in support of the Filipino LGBTQIA+ community and OPM scene.
Now a signed artist under Offshore Music, Pixie's narrative-heavy lyricism, paired with pop-folk acoustic worlds, creates safe spaces for listeners to embrace and express their authentic selves, traversing themes of identity, passion, and perpetual longing.
