Desde pequeños, nos alimentó el Currulao, el Bunde y las Jugas. A partir del 2015, hemos estado creando música fusión y contando historias de resistencia por aquellos que no pueden contarlas. Nos influencia la potencia de nuestro territorio, su cultura, sus ritmos y su paisaje; narramos sus alegrías y sus luchas. También nos interesa aproximarnos a otras miradas y sonidos que son relatos de resistencia: Hip-Hop, Reggae, Blues. We are Plumuda with Plantain, what you eat in Tumaco, sounds from Colombia´s South Pacific Coast to the world.
From an early age, we were nurtured by Currulao, Bunde and Jugas. Since 2015, we have been creating fusion music and telling stories of resistance on behalf of those who cannot tell them. We are influenced by the power of our territory, its culture, its rhythms and its landscape; we narrate its joy and its struggles. We are also interested in approaching other viewpoints and sounds that are stories of resistance: Hip-Hop, Reggae, Blues. Here you can find our EP “No More Funerals” (2018), produced by Galletas Calientes Records. We carry on creating!, Stay tuned, there is more to come soon..
