Pony Pony Run Run are a French electro-rock band with a dance-punk style. Founded in Nantes, France, in 2003, the band is a trio comprised of Gaëtan Réchin Lê Ky-Huong (aka G; guitar, vocals), Amaël Réchin Lê Ky-Huong (aka A; bass), and Antonin Pierre (aka T; keyboards). Former bandmembers include Frédéric Rivière (drums) and Samuel Cortes (guitar). Citing a long list of influences that range from <a href="spotify:artist:0UKfenbZb15sqhfPC6zbt3">Devo</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0dmPX6ovclgOy8WWJaFEUU">Kraftwerk</a>, to <a href="spotify:artist:3inCNiUr4R6XQ3W43s9Aqi">Pavement</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3jOstUTkEu2JkjvRdBA5Gu">Weezer</a>, to <a href="spotify:artist:4tZwfgrHOc3mvqYlEYSvVi">Daft Punk</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6WH1V41LwGDGmlPUhSZLHO">Autechre</a>, Pony Pony Run Run made their full-length album debut in 2009 with You Need Pony Pony Run Run on the <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%223%C3%A8me+Bureau%22">3ème Bureau</a> label. The lead single "Hey You" was a big hit, reaching the Top 20 in France and the Top Ten in Belgium, and proved so popular that it warranted the release of a nine-track Hey You Remixes EP (2009).
