On his fourth album Cinematic, Talisco composes an electro-pop fresco with, for the first time, lyrics written in French. A way of marrying his taste for wide-open spaces, pictorially and musically, with a more intimate and drastic poetry. Cinematic is neither a biopic nor a self-portrait; It's a visceral but never frontal hymn to life.
