Formed in the early 1980s by John Baxter, Paul Fishman, Roland Kerridge and Francois Craig later replaced by Nigel Ross-Scott. The group commenced playing gigs in the UK and recording songs that eventually appeared on their first album. After signing to EMI in 1983, Re-Flex released the album “The Politics of Dancing” which became an international hit. Five singles were released from this album. On their first US tour they supported The Police and were among the first UK artists to be featured on MTV. The 12" mix of "Politics" became the first by a UK band to top the US dance charts.
Re-Flex contributed music to various soundtracks including the multi-platinum selling “Breakdance” and Superman IV. They recorded 6 albums, “Movement of the Action Fraction” “The Politics of Dancing” “Humanication”, Music Re-Action, “Jamming The Broadcast” and “Re-Fuse” which were made exclusively available to fans through their web site (www.re-flex.com).
