Rebekka Bakken grew up in a small town near Oslo. As a child she learns the violin and the piano, later she turns to singing and tours the club scene in Oslo. She moves to New York, plays with famous musicians and takes all that into her first solo album. "The Art of How to Fall“ shows an uprising charismatic singer-songwriter.
Critics are enthusiastic about "Is That You?", "I Keep My Cool", "Morning Hours", "September" and "Little Drop of Poison“. Rebekka Bakken receives the highest music awards in Austria and Germany. After New York and Vienna she now lives in Oslo, with husband, son and royal poodle Miriam. "Things You Leave Behind“ shows a new Bakken-sound: personal, powerful, with a good sense of humor.
