I was born in Milan (Italy) and studied alto sax and guitar. From 1974 to 1985 I traveled the world studying African, Indian and Near and Far Eastern music, I recorded music "in the field" and I studied and collected ethnic musical instruments from all over the world. I have recorded LPs and CDs for several European labels: Raw Materials Records, Victò, Recommendations Records Lowlands, Auditorium, Voiceprint/Gonzo Multimedia, Island Records, Music from Memory, Soave Records, Goodfellas Records, Oxmose Records. I have composed and performed music for films, video commercials, dance, live soundtracks for silent films, music for poetry and theatre. My LP "Messages on water on desert sand", was nominated for a Grammy in the UK in 1987. I made several videos for musical performances by: Massimo Mariani, Walter Prati, Giancarlo Schiaffini, Liliana Bancolini, Morgan, Masimo Cavallaro and Arnold Marinissen. I work in the field of "Crypto Art" with various projects on MakersPlace, Async art and Catolg.works From the 80s to today I have played with many Italian, European and American musicians: Giovanni Venosta, Claudio Gabbiani, Walter Prati, Giorgio Magnanensi, Massimo Cavallaro , Tiziano Tononi, Daniele Cavallanti, Massimo Mariani, Moni Ovadia, Chris Cutler, Jon Rose, David Moss, Steve Piccolo, Harold Boué, Suzanne Ciani, Elliott Sharp, Keith Tippett and the plunderphonics with Third Ear Band.
