RYOTA 片山凉太是一名創作歌手、編曲人、電影配樂及音樂製作人。他以單曲《逃啊逃啊》和《身份不明》榮獲2020 AIM中文音樂頒獎典禮的最佳作曲獎及最佳編曲獎，同年底推出了首張個人創作專輯《RYOTA 片山凉太》，並憑藉該專輯榮獲第14屆Freshmusic年度十大專輯殊榮。

Ryota Katayama is a singer-songwriter, music arranger, film composer, and music producer. He won the Best Composer and Best Arranger awards at the 2020 AIM Chinese Music Awards for his singles “Run, Run” and “Unknown Identity.” Later that year, he released his debut solo self- titled album Ryota Katayama, which was recognized as one of the Top Ten Albums of the Year at the 14th Freshmusic Awards.
In 2023, he composed the film score and theme song for the film Abang Adik. The theme song, “A Walk To Remember,” was nominated for Best Original Film Song at the 60th Golden Horse Awards, where Ryota was also invited to perform as guest. In 2024, this song earned him the Best Song Producer award at the 35th Golden Melody Awards, later this year, his work for Abang Adik also won the Best Original Score at the Cambodia Asian Film Festival.
