This Copenhagen-based band was born in the ashes of a great fire. When they first got started, they played dark music inspired by Joy Division. But then their rehearsal space burned to the ground, as did all their instruments. The four lads saw this as a new beginning, and thus began the new sound of Saint Best.
The band wanted a sound that could make people dance. And boy, it certainly can! Saint Best’s new sound is purely hedonistic electro pop – brought forward by lots of synths, danceable beats and gorgeous falsetto vocals. There’s no doubt that the four-piece has dug deep into the pastel-coloured 80s, and yet the band manages to put its own touch on the songs.
Saint Best released their debut EP late 2016 from where the singles “Pacific Girls” and “Vincent Bowman” achieved heavy rotation on danish national radio P3.
