Shotgun Sawyer is a raw, blues-infused rock n' roll band from Northern California. Dylan Jarman and bassist Brett "The Butcher" Sanders were joined by drummer David Lee in January of 2015 with the intent to revive and reimagine the musical styles of Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf, treading similar ground to Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, and Black Sabbath. During a protracted hiatus in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, drummer David Lee left the band, and Cody Tarbell of Slow Season was invited to sit in with Dylan and Brett for the foreseeable future.

The band has released 3 full-length albums, Thunderchief (2016), Bury the Hatchet (2019), and a Self-Titled Shotgun Sawyer (2024), all available on Ripple Music, and has toured extensively, both in the United States and Europe.
