Formed in 1983, Stage Dolls are celebrating their 40th year in 2023 celebrating with an Anniversary Concert in their hometown Trondheim on Dec. 1st.
Superbly crafted AOR with raunchy guitar riffs, unforgettable choruses, these songs are hard to get out of your head.
Stage Dolls have released 9 albums over the years, with hits like ‘Love don’t bother me’,’Soldier’s Gun’, ‘Wings Of Steel and ‘Love Cries’, which made it to top 3 in the American AOR RADIO Charts in 1989.
The band have toured extensively, mostly in Norway but also the US, Great Britain and Europe.
In 2023, their first single from the new album ‘Guess I must be Dreamin’ was released on Sept. 1st, unmistakenly Stage Dolls’ish with a chorus that takes you back to 1988.
The next single, 'Two Eagles', was released on Oct.13th. -This song is probably one of the best I've written, says frontman Torstein Flakne.
