The melancholy and romantic sound of the piano drives the sensibility of Stefano Guzzetti, composer and pianist and one of the main players of the European neoclassical scene, with well over 32 million plays on streaming platforms. The US, Germany and England are the markets that have truly embraced his compositions and it is no coincidence that Mute Song Ltd. has decided to become his exclusive publisher. Particular attention to the compositions of Stefano Guzzetti has surprisingly come from Japan, where he has performed several times with his string ensemble, including a performance for the Italian Institute of Culture in Tokyo. The music of Stefano Guzzetti has conquered a great Italian brand like Dolce & Gabbana, who chose him for the soundtrack of the 2017 D&G event in Palermo, shot by the Oscar winning director Giuseppe Tornatore. With the same Milanese brand, in April 2018 the Stefano Guzzetti Ensemble performed live for the “Dolce & Gabbana – High Jewelery” evening at the New York City Public Library, hosted by the actress Sarah Jessica Parker. During the years, the most important book publisher in Italy, Einaudi Editore, commissioned him the soundtrack and the sound design for several book trailers. He has also scored various movies and documentaries as well. On 2019 July 5th his composition “1983” has been released by Deutsche Grammophon for their “XII” project. His next album will also feature a collaboration track with the singer Lisa Gerrard.
