Dmitry Evgrafov is a Berlin-based pianist, composer and multi-instrumentalist whose music blends intimate piano, string arrangements and rich electronic textures. With a background in Sound Design, he moves fluidly between modern classical composition, ambient music and detailed studio experimentation.
After a series of early self-releases, Dmitry signed to FatCat’s 130701 imprint in 2015 and went on to release Collage, The Quiet Observation, Comprehension Of Light, Return and Surrender, building a distinctive voice within and beyond the post-classical world. His work has also appeared on compilations for 1631 and Deutsche Grammophon.
In 2025, Dmitry released Research Center, his first full-length album in five years. Conceived as a space for musical exploration, the record expands his palette into more rhythmic and genre-free territory, drawing from modern classical, ambient, electronica, UK Garage, Japanese ambient, Italo Disco and contemporary jazz while preserving the emotional precision and intimacy at the heart of his music.
