Georgia-born and Nashville-based Steve Ivey is a multi-faceted personality in the music business. On the one hand, Ivey is a songwriter, multi-instrument studio musician, and vocalist whose work consists of a mix of his original songs and his creative arrangements of well-known popular songs and hymns. On the other, Ivey is a successful songwriter and producer of many well known Country and Christian artists. Ivey also creates music for numerous films and TV shows. Ivey started his company, IMI (or Ivey Music International), at the age of 19 and within a few years had relocated to Nashville, in his own studio located on the famous Music Row. Ivey has reached the upper echelons of the charts in Europe, Canada, and the United States including 17 times Billboard #1 and numerous awards and nominations including Emmy’s, Grammy’s, Dove’s, Tele’s, and Billboard.
