With a career spanning over 30 years, six full-length albums, three EP, one live album + DVD released so far and hundreds of live gigs performed worldwide, Stormlord is one of Italy’s most enduring extreme metal bands.
The style of the band, classified as Extreme Epic Metal, blends influences from black metal, death metal, mediterranean folk music and symphonic music, creating an unique and recognizable sound supported by legions of loyal fans since 1991.
Stormlord toured inside ad outside of Europe several times and performed at various festivals like, just to name a few, "Un Dia De Leones" 2002, "A Summer Day In Hell" 2003, "Gods Of Metal" festival (three editions: 2004, 2006 and 2008), "Baden In Blut" 2008 (Germany), "Frostrock" 2009 (Belgium), "Ragnarök" 2014 (Germany), "Boarstream" 2014 (Germany), "Darktroll" 2014 (Germany) etc., sharing the stage with bands like Slayer, Satyricon, Carcass, Meshuggah, Testament, At The Gates, Alice Cooper, Motörhead, Opeth, etc.
The sixth album "Far", their most bombastic and aggressive to date, has been released in Digi CD/LP on May 24th 2019 via Scarlet Records.
