SUPER FURRY ANIMALS re-open the door to their world of ageless, multicolour melody and offbeat phantasia after a decade of rest and recuperation. The legendary Welsh band returns with a nine-album songbook of vibrant hits and adventurous, off-piste cuts, reaffirming their mission to bring unalloyed joy to the Furry family.
With an unchanged line-up since Day One—aside from the early departure of original singer Rhys Ifans—the Furries reunite as Huw Bunford, Cian Ciarán, Daf Ieuan, Guto Pryce and Gruff Rhys for another voyage into memories and magic.
Emerging in 1995 after signing to Creation Records, the band quickly grabbed attention with unusual promotional tactics: the iconic Super Furry Animals Tank, giant inflatable bears, Yeti costumes and the inevitable Yeticide. Their 1996 debut Fuzzy Logic blended literary, narcotic and musical influences into a vivid, unmistakable sound that stood apart amid the nineties and noughties guitar surge.
Their first UK Top Ten album, Radiator, placed them firmly among indie dance-floor classics, while seven more adventurous albums added further indie-psych-pop standards to the cultural conversation. Renowned on stage and off, Super Furry Animals return to celebrate over thirty years as a band in spring 2026, following the October 2025 reissue of their much-loved 2005 album Love Kraft.
