Sultry vocals layer into rhythmic melodies as singer-songwriter SV NOIR (“s-v-nwar”) blends
elements of Alternative R&B, Indie and Pop.
Born and raised in Tampa Bay and now residing in the heart of Chicago; she debuted on Soundcloud in 2018 releasing "Quarter Century" a four song EP, featuring introspective lyrics of heartbreak and self-acceptance. Catching the attention of listeners shortly after her debut, SV connects with audiences through her immersive live performances; creating an atmospheric vibe with a velvety texture and provocative dance moves to match.
SV showcases her mellow yet adventurous sound inspired by the works of R&B artists like Jhene Aiko and
SZA. In her rookie year she acquired the recognition of rebuttable Tampa-Based, Mieux
Magazine; highlighting Quarter Century EP as having "refreshingly different vocal styles that showcase her versatility as a singer."
Later that year, SV went on to win Mieux Magazine's video of the summer with her visual for "Rebel" and was also nominated for three Mieux Magazine Awards: Female Artist of the Year, Debut Project of the Year, and Breakthrough Artist of the Year.
She is currently working on the visuals for her upcoming release "Sideline" on 12/4; while exploring her stylistic range. You can expect to hear more from her in the beginning of 2021!
