“The New Vibe of Afrobeats”. Teemanay’s love for Afro-Global sounds pushed him to travel far and wide in search of a suitable environment that allowed him to maximize his potential as a great Nigerian singer and songwriter with eccentric vocal dexterity. From the struggles of Lagos,to the glitters of Johannesburg, he eventually found himself in the City that never sleeps, New York City, a path that led him to discover his sound which is a modern Afro-fusion sound with an influence of Urban RnB and Caribbean sonics, also called “Nigerian Alternative RnB”.

Teemanay is the most sought after in any African gathering in North America. So far, Teemanay has released hit singles like Vibez (Just Like the Weather) , Kill Dem , WINE AM a debut EP titled "Timeless" and a self titled EP "KONVICT KULTURE PRESENTS TEEMANAY" with Akon in summer of 2022. His summer 23 debut “Litter Me” became the new fan favorite, having being considered for the Grammy’s and his latest release Call Me is already breaking first week records with a Billboard US Afrobeats debut at #35. His recent work as a singer and songwriter on World Wide Playdate by Divinity Roxx has earned him his first Grammy® Nomination. He has headlined notable platforms across the world including the famous Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
