⋆.°+♡ TETO PRETO (2014) is a collaboration between the multi-artist Laura Diaz (aka CARNEOSSO), producers and musicians Matheus Câmara (Entropia) and the multi-instrumentist Marian Sarine (DEAF KIDS), the choreographer and dancer Juana Chi alongside Puri Yaguarete that emerged from São Paulo's underGRANDE queer parties in abandoned industrial buildings amongst a thriving electronica scene. The group is a unique, politically provocative force that Boiler Room has called "Brazil's most innovative band."
⋆.°+♡ Sharp and insatiable, TETO PRETO takes its bold and performative sound to new musical landscapes and reaffirms its identity with its new album. FALA is the title of this collection of eight original tracks and one remix, hyping up a visceral and powerful narrative. The group’s second album guides listeners through a sensory journey, navigating rhythms like dubstep, drum'n'bass, garage, acid, reggaeton, and even hyperpop. As CARNEOSSO provokes: “FALA is humanity's first weapon, a narrative about positionality and power, born from the violence of its time-space.”
⋆.°+♡ Their first record, Pedra Preta (2018), was considered one of the most relevant albums of the year by brazilian and international music publications such as APCA, Crack Magazine, BeeHype and Azoofa. The band is part of MAMBA NEGRA's artistic crew, onde of the most important independent party from LGBTQIAP+ scene.
