1994年12月21日、キューンミュージックよりシングル「Promise」でメジャーデビュー。以降、「永遠（とわ）に」「ひとり」「星屑の街」「ミモザ」など多数のヒット曲を送り出す。他アーティストへの楽曲提供、プロデュースをはじめ、ソロ活動など多才な活動を展開。
日本のヴォーカル・グループのパイオニアとして、世界各国でも作品がリリースされている。
2024年11月13日にメジャーデビュー30周年を記念したEP「Pearl」を、2024年12月18日には全60曲CD 5枚組のカップリングコレクションBOX「G30 -Beautiful Harmony 2-」をリリース。 2024年12月21日メジャーデビュー30周年を迎え、2024年12月20日、21日に「ゴスペラーズ 30周年記念祭@日本武道館」、2025年1月13日には「ゴスペラーズ 30周年記念祭@大阪城ホール」を、2025年4月から9月にかけて51公演に及ぶ全国ツアー「ゴスペラーズ坂ツアー2025 “G30”」を開催。12万人を越える観客を動員し大成功を収めた。
A vocal group consisting of Yoichi Kitayama, Kaoru Kurosawa, Yuji Sakai, Tetsuya Murakami, and Yu Yasuoka.
They made their major debut on December 21, 1994, with the single “Promise” . Since then, they have produced numerous hit songs such as “Towa ni” , ‘Hitori’ , “Hoshikuzu no Machi” , and “Mimoza”. They have expanded their versatile activities, including providing songs and producing for other artists, as well as solo projects.
On November 13, 2024, they released the EP “Pearl” commemorating their 30th major debut anniversary. On December 18, 2024, they released the coupling collection box set “G30 -Beautiful Harmony 2-”.
They held the “Gospellers 30th Anniversary Festival at Nippon Budokan” on December 20 and 21, 2024, and “Gospellers 30th Anniversary Festival at Osaka-jo Hall” on January 13, 2025. From April to September 2025, they held the concert tour “Gospellers Zaka Tour 2025 “G30”. The tour was a huge success, drawing over 120,000 attendees.
