Hailing from Ottawa, Canada, The Riptides formed in 1998, the band follows in the footsetps of punk legends like The Barracudas, Ramones Screeching Weasel and The Queers (among others). Not to be confused with Australia's The Riptides (who are awesome, by the way), the Ottawa-based band has carved their own path with a discography spanning over 25 years. Known for their high energy live shows, they've grown a devoted following both locally and internationally.
