The Rockabilly Rebels, a Norwegian rock band formed in Halden in 2012, had an unexpected start. The band's origin traces back to Petter Huseby's decision to claim he had a band to secure a gig at a local store. Consequently, he recruited his 15-year-old classmate, Edvard Dylan Skjeklesæther, to play drums, even though Edvard had no prior drumming experience. Faced with a shortage of bass players, they approached Erik Bernáldez Hjelde, already a member of another local rock band. Initially a trio, the band expanded to a quartet with the addition of Hans Henrik Klæboe Halvorsen in 2019.

Drawing from blues, rockabilly, and 1950s rock and roll influences, the Rockabilly Rebels released their debut album, "Art by Accident," which has amassed over 6,000,000 listens on Spotify. Additionally, the band released a single, "Rockabilly Rebels," in 2013 and "Holly Rocking Christmas" in 2023, an EP titled "Lonesome Town" in 2017, and "Bobben med oss: en tribute til Bobben Rolls Brennevinstrio" in 2018.
