Thornley is led by vocalist/guitarist virtuoso Ian Thornley, who does double duties as the co-founder of Boston rock outfit Big Wreck. On a Big Wreck hiatus, Thornley returned to his native Toronto and began writing solo material. Nickelback's Chad Kroeger -- a pal from the modern rock trenches -- had just started his 604 label through Universal, and promptly tapped Thornley as one of the first priorities. By late 2003, the singer was back in the studio, working with an allstar lineup of studio masters: producer Gavin Brown (Three Days Grace), drummer Sekou Lumumba, bassist Ken Tizzard, and guitarist Tavis Stanley. Come Again LP appeared in May 2004, the first single "So Far So Good" was an instant rock and alternative radio hit in North America and has since been certified Gold.
