Tom Winpenny is Assistant Master of the Music at St Albans Cathedral, UK, and director of the Cathedral Gils Choir. Previously he was Sub-Organist at St Paul's Cathedral, after graduating from King's College, Cambridge, where he was Organ Scholar.

Amongst his recording reviews he has received Critic's Choice from Gramophone and American Record Guide, and five-star reviews from Musik und Kirche (Germany) Diapason (France) and Choir and Organ (UK).
