TripleNoize is a Singapore-based hip hop outfit, comprising of Mr Chan and F2. They made their mark in the local music and hip-hop scene in the late 90's, and were eventual runners-up for the infamous MediaCorp's Talentime competition in 2001.
They quickly produced their first album - From Where We Sit, with Mouse Records in 2002, followed by a distribution deal with Warner Music Malaysia. Alongside major heavyweights from Malaysia, they toured West Malaysia, and glamoured their hit single Mak Minah to the masses. The hit, which was well-received from teenagers to the senior community peaked the ERA and RIA charts for 10 weeks, and 14 weeks concurrently at the Number 1 spot. In 2004, they went independent with a self-funded album, Noizy FM which was a non-stop 20-over tracks album mimicking the real-life day process of a hip hop radio station.
Additionally, they were advocates for 2005 Speak Good English Campaign alongside local artistes Suhaimi Yusof, Sharon Ismail and many others. A big win for TripleNoize was when the campaign stroke a chord with an opinion piece for hiphop zine XXL's August 2005 publication. To date, their music outreach brought them followings from Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei and Taiwan.
Aside from Mak Minah, they were also best known for their remixes, and sampling of the Dean Martin's hit, "Sway", alongside other singles namely Roc Ya Body, Noizy FM, and Red and White.
