XG

XG is a seven-member HipHop/R&B-inspired girl group consisting of JURIN, CHISA, HINATA, HARVEY, JURIA, MAYA, and COCONA. The name “XG” stands for “Xtraordinary Girls,” reflecting their mission to empower people from all walks of life around the world through bold, boundary-breaking music and performances.
They made their debut in March 2022 with their first single “Tippy Toes,” and quickly made history by becoming the first Japanese act to top the weekly Billboard’s “Hot Trending Songs Powered by Twitter” chart. They also became the first Japanese girl group to grace the cover of Billboard magazine.
Their second mini album, AWE, released in November 2024, marked their first entry on the Billboard 200 album chart. In 2024, they launched their first-ever world tour, XG 1st WORLD TOUR “The first HOWL”, performing 47 shows across 35 cities in 18 countries and regions drawing approximately 400,000 audiences worldwide. The tour concluded with a final show at the Tokyo Dome on May 14, 2025 where they captivated a crowd of approximately 50,000 audiences.
In April 2025, XG became the only Japanese act to perform at one of America’s largest music festivals, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, where they headlined the Sahara Stage and received widespread acclaim from both domestic and international media.
