It’s melancholic, it’s dark, it’s reflected, but the confidence remains.
YES I'M VERY TIRED NOW. And yes, I realise it's a rather unwieldy name, but I'm not leaving it here without good reason. Since my childhood, sleep has not exactly been my best friend. Especially at night, we rarely find a common ground. As a result, my days are accompanied by a latent tiredness. When someone asks me how I'm feeling, my favourite answer is: Yes, fine, but I'm just very tired.
As a "night watchman", I also tend to be drawn to melancholic sounds: <a href="spotify:artist:1RM5gp0RFfjpJhCYFPB30p" data-name="Nick Cave">Nick Cave</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:12VaqyEhgwDRuFfEqbnrpz" data-name="PJ Harvey">PJ Harvey</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7n1EM42Fseebd9H2p8eWWS" data-name="New Model Army">New Model Army</a> or <a href="spotify:artist:4fxp616ALtFWnXfwxnjLzW" data-name="Antony and the Johnsons">Antony and the Johnsons</a> (only to name a few here - yes I'm also very music addicted).
I describe my own music as dark indie with a love of electronic elements and moods.
Before I released my first song (You In My Heart ) as Yes I'm Very Tired Now around 10 years ago, I was also a member of the songwriter duo JUNES and the punk band SICK CONDITION.
My fourth studio album "The Dark Tape" will be released soon. The album is in a way the archiving of my history, but at the same time a new chapter, born out of the urge to discard the old and start something new. A look back to be able to look forward and continue writing life. A soundtrack to my own journey, which is perhaps also reflected in your life at certain points, accompanying you musically or, in the best case, even inspiring you.
And YES I'M VERY TIRED NOW, but I am awake. And alert people are needed in this day and age.
