A Riot Wrapped in Funk and Fury for the Young and Rebellious.
Amsterdam’s unpredictable four-piece, ZAPHYRIA, is a band of extreme alter egos, fusing the raw aggression of Rage Against the Machine with the chaotic groove of Red Hot Chili Peppers. Their music is a volatile cocktail of funk, rap, hard rock, and grunge, igniting a sonic rebellion that refuses to be ignored.
Their 2024 debut EP, Who Wears The Crown, sent shockwaves through the Amsterdam underground, with anthemic singles like “Fugazi” and “When I Eat Sushi”, contrasted by the seductive mystique of “Rose From Outer Space”. Their authentic sound, unfiltered energy struck a nerve, cultivating a loyal, mosh-hungry cult-following.
By Co-founding the YUC collective, they’ve cemented themselves as the face of Amsterdam’s rising underground revolution, performing over 30 shows in their first year as a band at iconic venues like Melkweg and Paradiso Main Hall. With their second EP on the horizon, they’re gearing up to expand their reign beyond Amsterdam, with upcoming shows around Europe and the UK. They are busy rallying a new generation of saggy-pants, rebellious misfits who are ready to break the rules and make some noise. Expect new music from them and see them live in a city near you soon.
ZAPHYRIA doesn’t just make music. they have created a movement—one that celebrates chaos, freedom, and unfiltered expression.
