Aaron Martin is a Kansas-based cellist and composer. His solo work has appeared on Eilean Rec., IIKKI, and Preserved Sound, among other labels. He also regularly collaborates with other artists, most notably, his ongoing project with Dag Rosenqvist called From the Mouth of the Sun. In addition to his main music work, Aaron has recently begun scoring films, including a feature-length score for A24's "Menashe" with Rosenqvist and the Oscar shortlisted and Emmy-nominated documentary short “A Broken House.” His latest solo score is for BAFTA award-winning director Alex Lockwood’s documentary feature “The End of Medicine.”
