Tatsuya Kitani began posting music online around 2014 and simultaneously started his career as a songwriter, providing music for other artists.
In 2023, he released "Where Our Blue Is," the opening theme for the TV anime Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death and performed at the 74th NHK Red & White Year-End Song Festival. The song has since surpassed 500 million streams worldwide, with its music video earning over 100 million views on YouTube.
He has written music for a wide range of artists, including WEST., Hoshimachi Suisei and SUPER EIGHT. In April 2024, he started hosting his own radio show “Kitani Tatsuya's All Night NIPPON 0(ZERO)”, on Nippon Broadcasting System. By July 2024, he formed the duo GEMN with Kento Nakajima, continuing to broaden his activities across genres.
