Beauty's Confusion

Beauty's Confusion (vocals: Jenna / music: Chris) make music that rides a fine line between electronic pop and gloomy trip-hop. BC formed in late 2001 in Cape Coral, FL, originally as a trio. Playing largely in the south Florida punk/indie rock circuit, their sequenced Portishead/Hooverphonic-inspired keyboards and swirling Curve-influenced guitars couldn't have been more out of place.

BC has remixed several artists, including NYC&#39;s <a href="spotify:artist:0ovcZkMneLAuopQUVk1vlb" data-name="Sarah Fimm">Sarah Fimm</a>, Belgium&#39;s <a href="spotify:artist:4MPGp9qamK8dmXuUGr6Zcg" data-name="Lunascape">Lunascape</a>, and hip-hop artist <a href="spotify:artist:6jbuMVAvWgoPxEb1wMglyz" data-name="Buck 65">Buck 65</a>. BC have also been remixed by legendary Canadian electronic composer <a href="spotify:artist:4pafdAPYdAF2RLlKuyfAWn" data-name="Rom Di Prisco">Rom Di Prisco</a> (Fortnite, Unreal, Guacamelee) and his diverse <a href="spotify:artist:1PB4H38aqgm2TDOkhP49dJ" data-name="Bitstream Dream">Bitstream Dream</a> project.

2017 brought the duo back together after a 10-year hiatus. A new single &#34;Microfilm&#34; was released in March 2017. On 11-21-2025, BC &amp; Bitstream Dream released an EP of rare remixes of selected tracks. A new full-length album arrives in 2026.

2025 finds Chris largely working behind the scenes in the production library space, collaborating with international labels &amp; music publishers. He has released over 10,000 tracks anonymously, on streaming platforms and all over YouTube, since 2020.
