After moving to Adelaide in 2013, Bec Stevens has found herself gaining recognition as one of the country’s most promising songwriters, and with good reason. Cutting her teeth playing in her home state of Tasmania, a commitment to honest lyricism and rigorously honing her live performance has found her an ever-increasing audience around Australia.
Following the release of her solo debut “More Scared Than Me” and expansion to a full band with subsequent single “Armed With The Past”, Stevens has notched up a number of marked achievements. These include a tour with Georgia Maq (Camp Cope) and supporting a diverse range of artists including Tim Rogers, Julien Baker, Missy Higgins, and West Thebarton. Additionally, she has joined the line-ups of festivals such as Til The Wheels Fall Off, Stonecutters, A Day of Clarity, and Poison City Weekender.
Now, as an established force to be reckoned with, Stevens will release her debut full band EP in 2018 through Hobbledehoy Record Co.
