2019年、ボーカル甫木元空（ホキモトソラ）監督作品、青山真治、仙頭武則共同プロデュースの映画「はるねこ」生演奏上映をきっかけに結成。
Spotify「RADAR: Early Noise 2022」に選出、同年11月にメジャー1stアルバム『Quicksand』をIRORI Records / PONYCANYONよりリリース。Vo甫木元空のソウルフルで伸びやかな歌声で歌われるフォーキーで温かみのあるメロディーと、Key菊池剛（キクチゴウ）によるジャズをベースに持ちながら自由にジャンルを横断する楽器陣の組み合わせは、普遍的であると同時に先鋭的と評される。

Bialystocks has formed in 2019, after the screening of the film “Haruneko” (along with the live performance of the movie soundtrack), directed by vocalist Sora Hokimoto and produced by Shinji Aoyama and Takenori Sento.
They have been selected for Spotify's “RADAR: Early Noise 2022,” and released their first major album “Quicksand” from IRORI Records / PONY CANYON in November of the same year.
The combination of folky, warm melodies sung by the soulful voice of vocalist Sora Hokimoto, and the jazz-based, genre-crossing instrumentation of keyboardist Go Kikuchi is reputed to be both universal and radical at the same time.
