岡野昭仁×井口理「MELODY(prod.by BREIMEN)」ではBa.Vo 高木祥太が作詞・作曲、BREIMENメンバーが編曲・演奏に参加している。2023年10月、アメリカ・ロサンゼルス・エンゼルスタジアム前にてメジャー移籍発表、2024年4月、メジャー1stアルバム『AVEANTIN』をリリース。
“BREIMEN” is an alternative funk band from Japan formed by Shoter Takagi (Bass & Vocals), Katsuhiro Sato (Guitar), Yuta Ikeda (Keyboards), George Hayashi (Saxophone), and SoKanno (Drums). Although they are together as a band at the core, each member supports many other artists’ bands, and their absolute playing skills and their non-genre, unconventional sense of sound that they have cultivated through numerous sessions have achieved loyal fans.
They have released 1st album “TITY” in February 2020 and 2nd album “Playtime isn’t over” in May 2021, which were praised by many stars and musicians including Masafumi Goto of the Asian Kung-Fu Generation.
For “MELODY (prod. By BREIMEN)” by Akihito Okano X Satoru Iguchi, released on May 9th, 2022, Shota Takagi (Bass & Vocals) wrote the lyrics and music, and BREIMEN members arranged and played the music.
On July 20th, 2022, the 3rd album “FICTION” was released and their following concerts in Tokyo were sold out even under the pandemic. They are noted as one of the leading bands in the Japanese music scene in the 2020s.
