Dennis Johnson, professionally known as D Jay, is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter, and producer making waves with his unique blend of Afrobeats, trap, and pop music. His fresh sound is helping redefine the new wave of Afrobeats, earning him recognition both locally and internationally.
Born on September 1, 2001, D Jay developed a passion for music early. He first gained attention with his debut single “Bo Norr,” released during high school. He followed up with another standout hit, “Joy,” which built momentum and drew the attention of key industry players in Ghana.
In 2022, he dropped the global smash “Balance It,” which went viral, racking up millions of streams and cementing his place in the Ghanaian music scene.
