Born and raised in Croydon, multi-platinum artist DTG grew up immersed in South London’s cultural melting pot. A formative period spent in Nigeria actively shaped his musicality, where church music and local Afrobeats rhythms grounded the distinct sound he brought back to the UK.
Bypassing traditional gatekeepers, DTG cultivated a massive fanbase across YouTube and social media through natural comedic timing and raw talent. He leveraged this audience into a commercial breakthrough with his S1mba collaboration “Rover”—a BRIT-nominated, UK Double Platinum hit that peaked at #3 on the Official Charts, moved 1.2M+ units, and amassed over 470M Spotify streams. He’s continued that run with standout tracks like “Theresa” and his hit collaboration with Tobi (Sidemen), “Just Do It”.
Expanding into combat sports, DTG stepped into the ring for KSI’s Misfits Boxing promotion, delivering an explosive first-round TKO victory over S-X on the Prime Card at Manchester’s AO Arena.
Representing a new wave of versatile British talent, DTG’s single “Solo Leveling” (A Class Sound) marks the next chapter in his expanding catalogue.
