Lynn Standafer, known to many as Enduser, is a leading figure in the breakcore and experimental drum & bass scene. Beginning in the late 90’s in Cincinnati, his sound is forged from early influences in hip-hop, jungle, and industrial music — with nods to the militaristic weight of Skinny Puppy and the hard-edged breaks of ’90s jungle and photek-era D&B. Over the course of a career spanning two decades, Enduser has released on cult labels like Ad Noiseam, Hymen, Sublight, Outbreak, Hands, Ohm Resistance, and more, while also running his own label, Sonicterror Recordings. His early work was celebrated by indie music outlet Pitchfork and early tracks were played on BBC radio by hosts John Peel and Mary Anne Hobbes.

His collaborative ventures (including with Justin Broadrick, Bill Laswell, and others through projects like Blood of Heroes) continue to stretch genre boundaries, even as he retains a distinct voice within the breakcore world.

Recently, Enduser relocated to Stockholm, where he’s absorbing northern European influences and continuing to produce work that’s as uncompromising as it is emotionally resonant. In this new base, he maintains his commitment to innovation — pushing hard rhythms, experimentations in sound design, and exploring the spaces between chaos and control. His latest full length LP, ‘Unquiet’ is due out on Decay Recordings on January 23, 2026. Expect future releases and live sets that reflect both his roots and his evolving environment.
