Urban Love was born as a project to inject bossa nova's swinging step into much loved hits by the Rolling Stones. With guest singer <a href="spotify:artist:0NK0MNkLVmoTRc6wKP7Bb0" data-name="Astrud C">Astrud C</a> the group recorded their first bossa cover, <a href="spotify:track:3NqynZreOv8LjgnWRNBBfM" data-name="Out of Time">Out of Time</a> and they were overwhelmed by the success. With a push from friend <a href="spotify:artist:4gus7u7NSeJ3OGIhOnNgIr" data-name="Ituana">Ituana</a> as well as <a href="spotify:artist:6Q5cnVb5SfF6RWedEp57Al" data-name="Michelle Simonal">Michelle Simonal</a>, they offered their track to a label who was creating a little album called <a href="spotify:album:6fpDCF0v1qTzONOmBhqhRO" data-name="Bossa N' Stones (Limited Edition)">Bossa N' Stones (Limited Edition)</a> and the rest, they say, is history. They enjoy alternating between male and female vocalists like <a href="spotify:artist:5Ca7ZmupuEfBcIwg9MDVg7" data-name="Mo'Nique">Mo'Nique</a> and they always find a way to give back to the music they are borrowing.
