The young boogie woogie man from Varberg, Sweden Linus Zander who in American rockabilly blogs is described as "The Swedish Spark plug", is an artist with clear influences from the youth of rock.

29 year old Linus’s interest in classic rock 'n' roll and rockabilly developed early in his life. At the age of ten when he first heard Chuck Berry ’s ”Roll Over Beethoven”, he knew what it was all about - ROCK 'N' ROLL! His discovery of Jerry Lee Lewis made the choice of piano as the main instrument easy. During his late teens he developed his unique voice and singing style that together with his piano playing has evolved to the artist ”Linus Zander”.

Though there are obvious similarities of both tone and demeanor of the storied Ferriday Fireball he is very much his own man. The Swedish Spark Plug commands rippling 88s like trusted friends and if you listen closely you can hear Dr John, Fats Domino, Moon Mullican and Floyd Cramer all mixed up in his playing.

Linus is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry and is positioned for even greater success in the years to come thanks to his persistent commitment to his profession and the constant touring with his band "The West Coast Boys".
