Hong Kong-based singer-songwriter Allex Chan, known as Room307, channels his childhood home’s address into a bold musical identity. His 2025 debut album, Memory Boy, released under Sunset Music, is a cinematic fusion of sci-fi romance and lush “Neo Cantopop,” blending nostalgic Cantopop with modern electronic and ambient textures. Inspired by the Electro-Harmonix Memory Boy pedal, Allex writes, composes, arranges, performs, and produces every track, showcasing his auteur vision. Featuring Kuo-Hung Tseng of Sunset Rollercoaster, the album pairs evocative soundscapes with immersive visuals. Beyond music, Allex scores indie films and animations, including the award-winning Monsoon Blue, honored with Best Animated Short at the 60th Golden Horse Awards.
