Philadelphia singer, songwriter, producer and NYU Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music grad Scarlet Fiorella describes her music as "bottle of red wine and speaking your mind."
Though inspired by the soulfulness of artists such as Amy Winehouse and Beyoncé, and the funk of her Philly roots, Fiorella has had no trouble creating a world of her own. Her debut album “Symptoms of Delusion” highlights Fiorella’s retro vocal prowess, witty (and sometimes laughably crude) songwriting, and dramatic narrative intricacies. Standout track “too hot, too busy” caught fire on social media due to its cheeky, chanting bridge reminiscent of 2000s anthems such as “Single Ladies” and “Pretty Girl Rock.” Tough on the outside with the mouth of a sailor and a heart of gold, almost anyone can relate to the beautiful, the ugly, and the divine realness that is Miss Scarlet Fiorella.
She has an impressive track record of live performances, having supported artists such as HOMESHAKE and Amber Mark. In New York, she has performed at notable spots including Mercury Lounge, where she supported Begonia and The Free Label. She's recently supported up-and-comers Rachel Bochner (Sultan Room) and Tyler Miller (Baby's Alright) as well as produced her own show entitled "For the Gaze" in collaboration with Women That Rock, an all female line-up celebrating independent pop stars.
