Shallow Levée is a four-piece rock band from Taiwan. The four members hail from the southern port city of Kaohsiung and the offshore island of Penghu. The songs created by Shallow Levée reflect Taiwan’s local culture and people’s everyday life.Their style draws inspiration fromAmerican bands such as Wilco, The Strokes, and Alabama Shakes, as well as Japanese bands like Fishmans, Sunny Day Service, and Mitsume. They also blend in the rule-breaking compositions of Thelonious Monk and the heartfelt folk tunes of Kevin Morby and Olivia Dean, creating a rich patchwork of indie rock sounds that resonate with everyone.
With their creative vision,technical prowess, and dynamic stage presence, Shallow Levée has been invited to tour extensively across Asia in recent years, performing at events such as Korea’s
Greenplugged, Stepping Stone, Singapore's Huayi Festival, and Tokyo’s BiKN Festival, showcasing their rich international experience.
來自高雄,成團之初發行手工 Demo《Demo. 1》後,便以其中〈怪手〉一曲入圍2016 年第七屆金音創作獎最佳搖滾單曲獎,初試啼聲便備受矚目。由主唱依玲擔任主要詞曲創作者,歌曲多取材自對社會的細膩觀察與感受,使用華語與臺語書寫,以帶有詩意韻味與獨特寓意的歌詞為特色,深受樂迷喜愛。
2017 年發行 EP《湯與海》,舉辦巡迴演出,於臺北、高雄、香港創下佳績。而後便多次受邀登上高雄大港開唱、韓國 Greenplugged、Stepping Stone、新加坡華藝節等海內外指標性音樂節演出。2019 年舉辦《陷眠》臺灣巡迴,全場次完售,受媒體廣大報導關注。2020 年發行《不完整的村莊》專輯,同時入圍第十一屆金音創作獎最佳搖滾專輯獎,並達成臺北 Legacy 專場演唱會千人完售里程碑。近年淺堤
因著貼合日常題材、反映生活課題的溫柔作品,不僅為大港開唱、浪人祭等大型音樂祭固定班底,也廣受亞洲圈樂迷注目,至今受邀參與韓國 Greenplugged、日本東京 BiKN 音樂祭,今後將持續與海外樂人合作,跨向國際舞臺。
