Soha is a French contemporary R&B singer who released her debut album in 2007. Born of Algerian heritage, she hails from Marseille and cites influences ranging from American jazz, blues, and soul to Jamaican reggae and Latin music. Upon signing a recording contract with Virgin Music, she released her debut album, D'Ici et d'Ailleurs (2007), which was produced and co-written in collaboration with hitmaker Antoine Essertier and François Welgryn. Featuring the single "Tourbillon (Serre-moi Fort Si Tu M'aimes)," D'Ici et d'Ailleurs was reissued in 2008 with bonus material and, in turn, peaked at number 42 on the French albums chart. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi
