Tega Starr

Tega Starr is a versatile Nigerian artist known for his contributions to reggae, dancehall, afropop, and R&B genres. Hailing from Delta State and raised in Lagos, he began his musical journey at the age of six as the lead vocalist in his church choir.

In 2020, Tega Starr gained significant attention with the release of “French Kiss,” a collaboration with Mr Eazi. The track was produced by South Africa’s Master KG and Nigeria’s Magic Sticks, and its music video showcased Tega Starr’s vocal and dance talents.

As an alumnus of Mr Eazi’s emPawa talent incubator, Tega Starr was among 30 artists selected in its second round, highlighting his potential in the African music scene.

In 2022, he collaborated with Larry Gaaga and Jesse Jagz on the track “Blessing,” further establishing his presence in the industry.
