He cemented his place in the industry by producing Sarkodie’s widely acclaimed fourth studio album titled “Mary” in 2015. Before that, Akwaboah had shot to fame by winning Songwriter of the year 2010 with a song he wrote for Becca, titled “Daa ke Daa”. He would later go on to write songs for Efya including “Best in Me” which won record of the year in 2013.
Akwaboah’s legacy is secured, being the son of the legendary Kwadwo Akwaboah and the grandson of the great Kwabena Akwaboah. He promises to continue in the musical legacy built from the roots of Highlife.
