DJ Rocca is a producer and musician. He started to produce in late 90s working on some drum&bass and breakbeat singles as Maffia Soundsystem from the same name club in Italy, where he was the main resident DJ. In his career DJ Rocca has collaborated with Howie B, Pressure Drop, Zed Bias, Dimitri From Paris, Daniele Baldelli and Jazzanova producing singles, remixes and albums for some of the best European labels as Sonar Kollektiv, Compost, Classic, Rekids, Skint, Hell Yeah, Internasjonal, Futureboogie Recordings, Tirk, International Feel, Defected, Skint, Toy Tonics, Rotters Golf Club, Paper Recordings, Faze Action Recs.
DJ Rocca works with Dimitri From Paris and Daniele Baldelli. With the legendary Dimitri From Paris he has given voice to various projects: a new electro-disco act entitled ERODISCOTIQUE with an album on Japanese BBQ label, plus some EP’s on Gomma, Toy Tonics and Hell Yeah records
With Daniele Baldelli, DJ Rocca has released two albums, PODALIRIUS in 2012 and QUAGGA in 2017, in addition to some 12″ on Is It Balearic?, Rogue Cat Sound and Nein Records.
With the award-winning jazz musician Franco D’Andrea he plays electronics as Electric Tree, and in his Octet
He has remixed big names such as Oliver Koletzki, Luke Solomon, Blaze, Isolee, Pete Herbert, Bjorn Torske, Chris Coco, Dimitri From Paris, Andrew Weatherall, Justin Robertson, Soul Clap.
