Born and raised in Hackney, London N1, Gadget started out as a Jungle DnB DJ/MC in the rave and pirate radio scene. He later became a producer, rapper and vocalist while moving into Hip Hop and experimenting with various styles of music and crate digging. He found a real love for the Jazz fusion with Hip Hop, influenced by growing up listening to the likes of Gangstarr, A Tribe Called Quest and others.
While putting out releases of his own and collaborating, Gadget formed a platform called <a href="spotify:artist:5Z0IPiVInY7yKWbuM0E32Y" data-name="Millennium Jazz Music">Millennium Jazz Music</a>. "MJM" was originally just a few UK based artists who all represented the name like a banner, but it soon grew into what is now known as a prolific label with artists, groups and collectives from all over the world. Check out '<a href="spotify:artist:2FUXurbvunlTXulfpPUpXM" data-name="The Jazz Jousters">The Jazz Jousters</a>' collective ..a group formed and managed by Gadget since 2012 as the group push their production via challenges and studying the Jazz greats, instruments and styles of Jazz in different parts of the world. The group put out a three part cassette series called 'Variations', until the TekHedz branched off into a platform of it's own. Besides the above, Gadget's working on solo material and featuring on other platforms. He's also working as a music reviewer, supporting artists with feedback and promoting them in mix shows and livestreams.
