Radiation City / dystopian doo-wop, was a Portland, OR based band from 2010-2016. What started as a duo between creators Cameron Spies and Elisabeth Ellison, quickly became a five piece with the additions of Randy Bemrose, Matt Rafferty, and Patti King. Their sound is defined as " your parents record collection was on board the event horizon".
In their active years, they put out 3 records with local label Tender Loving Empire, The Hands That Take You (2011), EP Cool Nightmare (2012), Animals in the Median (2014), and towards the end two more albums with Polyvinyl Records, Synesthetica with (2016) and EP Coda (2018).
Their time together was dedicated to writing and self-recording, touring the US extensively, traveling around Europe, always finding ways to connect with their audience on and off the stage.
